My daughter and I both went to Area 51 for our first tattoos. We were recommended this place by my nephew and I could not be more pleased.. EVERYONE there is friendly, kind and caring in their passion for their art. We had an amazing artist named Taylor. I am 61 and this was my first tattoo and on my bucket list to do. My tattoo turned out amazing and it really did not even hurt to have it done. TJ Kruger did an awesome job on 3 piercings for me and has the best selection of high quality jewelry! Super clean and professional job well done. I made the drive from Chicago and it was worth it. I'll definitely be back.
Area51 is hands down the best shop in Mchenry county I've been to other shops in the city and near by shops I've been collecting ink for many years but nothing like Area51 you guys are all amazing artists !!! Went there to add to a polynesian tattoo i had started but was unable to finish. Taylor completed the tat and blended it well. Great job......i love it! Thanx chris
My hubby and myself had our first tattoo on April 29th and we were absolutely amazed at how easy it was...we were somewhat a bit nervous but Taylor put us completely at ease....It did hurt a little bit but not at ALL what we expected!!! Taylor did an excellent job and was very gentle with us. The staff was super friendly....the place was very clean...the atmosphere was awesome!!!! Might think about getting another one!!! Thank You so much for making our first tattoo a pleasurable one!!! :)
