Ridiculous. Leasing staff is rude. Please look at negative reviews as they are all true. Moved out and left apartment in great condition. Paid all their fees in addition to shampooing and deep cleaning outside of their hassle free cleaning service that I also paid for on top of it. Now being charged almost 4k after moving out for things not stated in the lease agreement with them stating the unit smells like urine which is impossible and of course smell cannot be proved upon providing photography. I moved out of this apartment on August 5 and was unexpectedly charged additional fees $729.29（damage-carpet replacement, pet inspection fee). I took photos before we leave so I know there is no damage on the carpet! I have emailed the office requesting proper documentation (such as inspection reports, photos, or invoices), but I have received no response at all. [Update] We had over $5,700 in our account, and our card was properly connected to the rent portal. It auto-paid on the 2nd — well before the 5th, which is the grace period. The website even showed “paid successfully.” But on the 7th, the office told us the payment was declined due to “insufficient funds” and hit us with $250 in late fees, plus extra transaction fees to pay again — only by check, exactly how they demanded. This is the worst management I have ever dealt with. I lived at Arden for a year and I would never ever recommend anyone living there. The place is unkept, NOT dog friendly, and absolutely over priced! Shyirl is a terrible manager and should never be allowed to run a place like this. Chances are, if one of the residents encountered her, they had a bad experience with her.
Uma is amazing! She is so informative and sweet. She needs a raise! If you’re going to tour at Arden ask for her!!
