Good recreational activities
My wife has been in this memory care facility for 2 years. The environment is great; the staff even greater. They take excellent care of each resident, have well thought out, and implemented recreation activities. Their individual rooms (16 per house of which there are 4) have outside views, independent temperature control, and are kept immaculate. Their food is first-rate and served in separate dining rooms for each of their four individual "houses". Hard to imagine you could ask for more for your loved one.
My father lived out of state and needed dementia care placement. I worked with the marketing director at Arden Courts W. Palm Beach to move father to Florida. She was instrumental is getting the paperwork completed with a facility in Georgia that was in no hurry to release him. The entire West Palm Beach staff made him feel at home immediately. In his mind he was not ready to retire. Nicole in activities gave him a badge and put him to work. He found a purpose in helping others at the facility. I would recommend Arden Courts... read more
I had my mother her some years back and I also worked in this facility for seven years. The administrator is by the book when it comes to running the facility. I Feel that is partly why this is a good facility compared to others. It is a clean facility with very caring staff. The residents become part of our family. I would recommend it to anyone that wants a place that their family member is well taken care of and is safe. B.C.
This place is exactly the nightmare we read about. Who cares if the building setup is state of the art for a wandering resident with dementia? The patient is awful and bordering on neglect. Since August 2014 admission, my mother has had broken shoulder, fallen with injuries 3 times and many other AVOIDABLE injuries and illness with minimal intervention from so called nurse or physician. Someone needs to check their staff credentials as well as resident:staff ratios. Mom went to the emergency room last week; dehydrated, lost ... read more
Our father lived in Arden Court of Seminole, for nearly 4 years. The care givers gave Dad his dignity through out his suffering with Alzheimer's disease. They treated our family like we were their family. Arden Courts made a difficult in our lives a time of renewal of our family relations, taking care of Dad and us.
After touring many facilities in the greater Orlando area, I felt lucky to find Arden Courts for my mother, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Because Arden Courts was designed exclusively for residents with dementia, the physical layout allows for freedom of movement (both indoors and out) in a cheerful, safe environment. Mom and I particularly enjoyed our time together in the various exterior courtyards. This is a well-managed facility; and the staff was consistently friendly, kind, capable, and extremely res... read more
Arden Courts was a blessing when we were trying to get my father out of a very bad long term care facility. They were very responsive and helpful with arranging the move and coordinating care. Their entire staff (admissions, front desk, nursing, care givers, housekeeping and dietary) was always friendly, courteous and caring. They always treated all the residents with dignity and respect and the facility truly felt like “home” for the last year of my Dad’s life. They gently encourage the residents to participate in their own... read more
I have worked in this facility with another agency for several years, providing care to residents. I always find well informed, caring staff who provide excellent care of residents and support to families. They are knowledgeable in dementia care and the difficulties facing families as care needs change. Various activities are provided during the day and after supper to engage residents and provide cognitive and physical stimulation, and interaction in a group setting with peers and staff. The residents really enjoy these pro... read more
