Located on Plymouth Road just east of Haggerty Road in Plymouth Twp., Michigan, the building currently known as the Arctic Pond was originally built in 1962 and was used as the Old Plymouth Bowl. In 1990 the Plymouth Bowl closed and in the spring of 1998 the building was bought by a group of hockey fathers lead by John Stansik to transform the bowling alley into an ice facility known as the Arctic Pond.
