I had a bad cough along with sore throat and aches. Testing was done and everything was negative. I was only offered a codine cough syrup to help ease my symptoms at night, to help me sleep. If memory serves, an older (and wiser PCP?) had prescribed an antibiotic for my lingering bronchial cough in the past. Perhaps I need that script again ...
