They kicked my son out because his father and I had saved, for years, for him to have a savings account. Anyway, because of the savings account, he is not eligible for welfare, food stamps or medicade or Archway.
My son who is mentally ill started living at Archway in January 2019. I live in Baltimore so I don't get to Cumberland as often as I would like. My son has absolutely blossomed under Archway's care. When I do get to visit he is pleasant, calm and seems very content. I haven't seen him this well in twenty years and I can't tell you how very happy this makes me. The staff that I have met are incredibly sweet, patient, and competent. I can't even begin to tell you what peace this has brought to me.
