I visited today for a new patient appointment. The aide that took my vitals when I arrived was less than friendly. Then the Nurse Practitioner I saw, Marianne Warren, was an hour late (okay, understandable) but then was confused about every aspect of my chart. I don’t have any complex medical needs, so it should’ve all been pretty straightforward. But she told me she didn’t know what my simple diagnosis’ were and asked me how to treat them. Receptionist was very rude and unwilling to help in any way and just wanted to rush me off the phone. They cancelled my daughter’s appointment twice, once in the beginning of July and then again in the end of July, now saying they can’t get her in before the beginning of September. Supposedly the Dr was sick both times, coincidentally. My daughter is starting college at the end of August which is why we called in the beginning of June to make the appointment at the beginning of July. I was one of unfortunate people coming from Anchor medical and their sudden closure. I was welcomed into Arches medical in Cumberland and had the pleasure of seeing Maryann for my first appointment along with a young student preceptor (who was very sweet) Maryann was friendly, caring and thorough. I was very nervous of having to go to this new location and she made everything just fine. I was so relieved. I look forward to seeing Maryann again, she was wonderful.
Worst place to go to they suck Not professional at all you will be waiting for three hours for nothing
I was a patient of Dr Balon for approximately 40 years. He was a wonderful, caring doctor but when it came time to retire he came up with this company to buy his practice. They have changed names three times. They have been consistently the worst organization I have ever dealt with in any subject. Most of the staff is arrogant and obnoxious.
