When COVID struck the assisted living facility in Birmingham, Alabama, my wife’s mother was experiencing the first still gentle symptoms of Altzheimers/Dementia, then things fell apart. They killed my mom!!! At a doctor visit for a mammogram in 2016, a lump was found on my mom’s breast. Archcare did nothing, told us nothing, and never followed up with biopsies or further treatment. We always called for updates on my mom’s care and we’re always told everything was ok. As my mom’s primary care doctor, they were the only ones who could further her treatment. I've been here for over a month. The doctors nursing staff and everybody else at this institution should be commended. It working very hard to attend to everyone's needs.
