I had a few concerns after my SIL was admitted to Carmel for short term rehab. I was pleasantly surprised when Cassandra phoned me today and all my concerns were addressed and cleared up. She was professional yet understanding and compassionate. Carmel was everything we hoped and lived up to its Gold Standard of care. A wonderful facility with caring, compassionate, attentive staff, the heels not just one’s body, but one’s mind one’s soul the care and concern that they have for us as patient encourages us to get better and she wants to get better quicker. This is a wonderful facility with excellent caring staff and updated accommodations. When you can't care for your family member at home, this is where you want them to be. My mom was a resident here in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease. The staff took great care of her. The empathy of the staff made it easier on my mother and our family. I appreciate all their efforts.
I met a friend the other day whose mom was in Carmel and she raved about the care. It made me think about the great care my mom received in her final days from the staff at Carmel in 2020.
My grandmother is currently residing at Carmel Richmond Nursing Home. Her overall experience has been positive, as the staff have demonstrated kindness, dignity, and respect towards her.
