I took my fourth graders on a field trip! My students were very excited and learned a lot! Plan on going there again as a private person.
I stayed at Archbold for a few days last semester and we were able to observe a lot of wildlife you can't see many other places, or at all, in the case of the Florida Scrub Jay. It was a great experience, and we were able to design our own experiments to perform at the station.
Open to the public for hiking, and self guided nature study. Nice display in the visitor center. Great history, and current science station.
Excellent experience for the kids. Very good information from the tour guide.
