I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this feels necessary. Arcadia Student Living hasn’t been safe or well managed in my experience. Strangers regularly wander into the pool area—including older adults who don’t live here, sometimes with kids, sometimes smoking weed—so it never feels secure. The “gated” part is inconsistent: sometimes the gate is closed, sometimes it’s wide open. I love the style of these apartments, and I think the community as a whole has a great atmosphere. However, there were issues with my roommate and I's room, like them not being cleaned properly when we moved in, animal scratches on furniture and stairs, and missing some important pieces (shower plug and all screens for windows). All it took were maintenance requests to fix most of these issues, though they should've been fixed before moving in.
I’ve really enjoyed living here! The apartment is comfortable and well-kept, and everything has been easy from move-in to now. The location is super convenient—close to shops, restaurants, and everything I need day-to-day. Maintenance has always been quick to respond whenever I’ve needed something. Overall, it’s been a great place to call home and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, stress-free apartment.
Didn’t get on-campus housing at UNCC, so I ended up at Arcadia — and honestly, it was the best thing that could’ve happened. The apartments are nice, the vibe is solid, and I’ve met some great people. Bella in the clubhouse made move-in day feel like a party. She was bringing all the energy and made the whole process way less stressful. If you're a freshman stuck off-campus, Arcadia’s the move. No regrets at all.
I stayed at this place for three years! The management is the best! I had a couple of normal apartment maintenance issues, but Bella at the leasing office was super nice and helped me out! 10/10!
