My mom and I found Arcadia Gardens right before she was diagnosed with COPD, and CHF.. Julie, Valentina and Maria welcomed her. She lived for about 2 1/2 years there before she passed and they were awesome to her. I could not have done it on my own! When she got more sick they got her into the facility right next door..it was a God thing.. She died in December, but she had the best quality life she could have had thanks to the people at Arcadia Gardens. At the age of 100, my mother in law was strongly counseled to move to an assisted living facility. She was still vital, but short term memory loss made it difficult for her to live on her own. We were aware of Arcadia Gardens and I contacted Julie to see what was involved. The initial impression of caring compassion I received has been validated now for almost five years. Arcadia Gardens Retirement is a beautiful community and definitely deserves 5 stars!
My grandmother just recently passed away on May 25, 2016. She was a resident there since 2012. The ladies in the front were always nice and welcoming, especially Maria and my grandmother sure had her favorite CNAs. We did encounter a few hiccups while my grandmother was a resident there, but the owner Julie was very sympathetic and addressed every issue. Truly, we do have some great memories there.
