Spent almost $1000 for ARC to install heat tape to my roof to prevent ice damns from forming First problem was upon installation. After the completion of the heat tape they informed me I need a GFI outlet. This should have been comunicated at the estimate process That problem was no big issue other than it displayed a non professional additude. We had ARC install an automated ice dam prevention system on a problem saddle area of our roof. They scheduled the electrician the same day so everything was completed at once. The quote was fair and the final price did not change. Looking forward to a worry free winter.
I called ARC and asked them about their services for my grandparents house in Minneapolis, who needed heating coils for their roof to help prevent ice dams. The associate answering the phones for ARC was friendly, helpful, and called my grandparents to schedule a visit. My grandmother noted to me that she was impressed with how friendly and detailed ARC was during the site visit, and noted how impressed she was to find that it was one of the owners who did the site visit.
