The person took a week to appraised my home. When I called the contractor they were rushed to come up with a completely un accurate house value. I believe the person rushed the appraisal do to being under pressure. It doesn't affect me cause my house is still 100k equity. But it’s really disappointing to have paid for such a horrible service . That’s why there at 2.6 on google I dint pick them the bank did.
We had the worst time with this appraisal company. Doug Dixon appraised the home we were looking to purchase at $410k. His number one weighted home; ( home he thought was closest to the one we were purchasing) was a 27 year old home ( ours is 3 years old) and the value was higher then what he gave our home. Doug Dixon conducted my appraisal at 349 Blake Avenue. It was the worst experience and appraisal Ive witnessed. Ive been a home owner since 2015. When I first bought my home it was a fore closure and the living square footage was 2,232 sqft. I then refinanced my home last year about 10 months ago and the appraisal was valued at $210,000.00 with a square footage of 2,232sqft. My appraisal was not good at all. Terrible service. Doug did my home and just walked the house with his computer. He did not measure the areas(like the other appraiser did). And he did not take any photos of my home. My appraisal came back lower than a previous appraisal and I've had updates to my house; Such as porceline tiling and a privacy fence. I do not recommend this service. Avoid at all costs.
