Horrible experience! Fist fights some days many in one day. The police needs to get involved with this behavior at this hospital because I doubt the crap would be going on if they did!!

They don't care. They techs, especially Kimme, are on their cellphones. Ypu get punched there by another patient in the lunch line, and they will refuse to call the police. They will continue to ket the violent patient out of his room. They will release traumatized with a black eye. They dont care. All they care about is their cellphones and money. Your life does not matter there. Furthermore, patients, will run in front you, cut in line in the cafeteria and the techs will sit there and do nothing.

This place is run like a prison.  If you want your loved one's spirit broke, this is the place.  They are not much good at anything else.

They say it is a place for hope and healing; it's not. I got punched in the eye by another patient while standing in the lunch line, and they refused to call the police. They told me he would be staying in his room but was at breakfast there's morning, staring at me. Not a safe place, they dont care about you, but they do care about their cellphones.

Staff were aware that racism and bullying were happening among patients and failed to properly address it until physical fights broke out. On my first day, staff explained almost nothing about how the facility worked. I was given little to no guidance about schedules, rules, privileges, or what to expect, which made an already stressful situation even more confusing and overwhelming. Many staff members seemed to be on power trips, constantly denying reasonable requests even when those requests did not violate any rules. Pa... read more

The higher ups at UHS do not care about staff or patient safety, that is a fact. They sweep the continuing attacks of patients against nursing staff under the rug. They have no safety measures in place and do NOT provide aftercare for the massive number of staff that are brutalized by patients. They also withhold employee paychecks and refuse to acknowledge employees even worked for them as nurses (5+ year employee here). They must be - hypothetically - paying off a number of agencies because no way their safety violations w... read more
