10 year+ resident. Never had pest issues previously, but our entire building (8 units) was scheduled for mystery "preventative pest maintenance" last week. Maintenance people would not confirm what it was for when asked. As it turns out, "preventative pest maintenance" is a euphemism for "cockroach infestation".
