We had John MaCuk of Arbor Oak prepare a quote for removal of dead wood, interior sucker growth, crossing limbs, etc. for our small front tree and two large oak trees. He provided a competitive and reasonable quote. The work was completed in a timely manner & as quoted. Clean up was done as part of the process. Today we hired another tree company to remove a pine tree that Arbor Oaks killed 2 years ago during a simple trimming. We paid Arbor Oaks for the trimming, and John refused to refund money due to the damage even though he admitted his crew had messed up and killed the tree. He also said he would take care of the removal of the tree for us, but of course we never heard back from him. I would highly caution using Arbor Oaks to anyone who cares about their trees. 2023 review update: we used Arbor Oaks for a second time and we are just as pleased as the first time. Definitely recommend their service! 2021 review: friendly customer service and quality work! We will be using them again for future tree trimming.
