I can't say anything but good of Arbor Hospice. We had the privilege and blessing of Having Eva of Arbor for our Case Manager and she truly is a light in the dark during these heartbreaking times. We had to have them come in to the hospital for my Beloved Grandma whom just passed and Eva went above and beyond to explain everything and ordered everything that we needed and wanted on a whim as everything was happening so fast. My spouse was under the care of Arbor Hospice, and I can’t say enough good things about them. We were truly blessed by their kindness and dedication. While we weren’t thrilled about the change in nurses that’s my only gripe the care remained exceptional. The aide Christy, is absolutely top-notch, and Nurse Lori is a gem. Very unprofessional. They will assure you they have things covered then will let your family members suffer when they can’t get morphine that they ordered. Not only that but if you call them for help they take 2+ hours to respond. Use any other company. They do not care about your family and are in it for the money. The only professional person that works there is Joel the on call nurse. Everyone else sucks.
They have problems. first, they said my dad wasn't eligible for hospice, which was completely wrong and then took a couple weeks to fix that mistake, then missed appointments. Now even though I was not the one they dealt with they constantly solicit money, even though I have multiple times requested to remove me from their database and stop bothering me, because I will not be donating money to them. Seems like they are wasting money that could instead be going for better patient care. Not a good place to deal with.
I met with Dr terazi for five minutes. After wards she accused my caretaker of streaming my pain medicine and telling me I'm unsafe in her home and asking "what our arrangement was" she then tried forcing me to stay on hospice although my oncologist wants to continue my chemo ASAP to force me into a nursing home to "adjust" my medication further prolonging my treatment that could be saving my life. Literally killing me and taking me from my small children all over a small dose of medication to keep me comfortable. I will be ... read more
