I an English guy working in Detroit, so I come here for some cask ale. It's "Ok", my tips to the brewery is to make it less ABV, 4 - 5% is fine, and it's too sweet. Also it should be served cellar temperature not through a chiller. But it's not too bad really, and the food here is good. The staff are always welcoming so I keep coming back. If only they would make a Timothy Taylor's Landlord type beer ( I can help with the recipe!). If you want non cask ales their selection is extensive and broad. Sea burger acceptable but boring. Not a great meal choice. Also a bit loud, and with that (possibly designed) college-bar grunge that can be great or not!
First visit here, and loved everything about it, especially the service! Dom was our server and went above and beyond, to meet our needs and exceeded our expectations. Actually all the servers who walked by showed a great amount of attentiveness. Absolutely WILL be back. Repeatedly.

The beers are amazing, the atmosphere is perfect and the food outta this world!!
Great menu with standard and vegetarian options. Not just adding a black bean patty to the menu but actual good flavorful vegetarian options. Plenty of beers on tap. Good atmosphere. Walking distance to everything down town. Parking garage right across the street.
I absolutely love this place! staff is amazing, the live music back on tuesdays is really great. as a performer i have had a great experience working with ABC so far! St Pattys Day last night was amazing! Joel Rydecki Band had such a blast!!
