good resource for buying & selling coins & stamps This shop has been in business for many years and has numerous regular customers. Prices are fair both buying and selling, and item conditions are accurately labelled.

Arapahoe Coins & Stamps website lies Went to this store today to both buy and sell some items. Website says that "We are committed to making a visit to our store a pleasurable experience and practice kindness to all who pass through our door." Total crap. The guy seemed annoyed with me as soon as he let me in (apparently he keeps the door locked). He saw the stamps in my hand, took them from me, looked at the first one and the last one, and told me that he didn't need any of them. I then asked if he had any proof and/or mint... read more

what a jerk The elderyly guy was a complete jerk to me. I tried to tell him about my stamp collection and without even looking at it he told me it was worth it and that the stamps prices I had looked up online and in stamp collection books were not accurate. I also wanted to buy some coins from him and the way he treated me was such that I will never go back there again.

Not even "thanks for coming in". I had two issues of postage stamps in mint condition from 1890 which sell for $45.00 each Mystic's 2010 stamp catalog. The elderly owner looked at my sample of 3 stamps and judged them "uninteresting" and not worth much. There was also a female assistant, perhaps a daughter who looked on but did not comment. There were many containers with coins, so perhaps that is their emphasis. It is not a retailer I'll visit again.

Thanks Guys!!! Im into collecting old silver coins and the place is the best! They have very high quality used silver (pre 1964) meaning they are not all worn and brushed. Other coin shops I have been to have their used silver brushed or worn completely flat. I have bought silver from them 3-4 times and it has been excellent each time. I think they have higher standards of purchasing used coins or something and as a bonus Littleton has the lowest tax rate in metro Denver (I think dont quote me). You need silver, this is the ... read more
