Al was great installing my shades! He was super knowledgeable and was able to get everything done very quickly. We wanted double blackout and light filter shades and he was able to do them on all of the windows in my apartment. He was always in contact and is able to come back if there’s ever an issue.
I contacted Empire Custom Windows to look into the curtain string problem, and they sent Elan the next day. And Elan did a great job fixing the problem and also advised me on how to best use the string going forward. I'm very satisfied with the quick and efficient services.

Al and his team did a wonderful job for all of the shades in our home. He was extremely responsive, answered all of our questions and everything was done very quickly. He was also able to perfectly install a set of side-by-side shades in a place that The Shade Store and other vendors were unable to. Highly recommended.
Al from Empire came to our place with sample books before work one day, suggested a solution we hadn’t thought of—a blind that goes up from the bottom and down from the top—and a few weeks later he and his employee Mark were back to hang four blinds in less than an hour. We're very happy with Empire Custom Windows: I’d recommend them to anyone.
