Good, service and pricing were all great. My favorite part is the musicians that come in and play a few songs and leave. So u get to see many in one visit. I saw 3 different type of singers during breakfast. I had the 3 tacos combo. Carnitas, birria and Chapline (grass hoppers) the chapulines have spiced peppers so look out for pepper skins or pepper seeds. Cafe de la Hoya was on point . Not too sweet like other places. Plenty of parking in the shopping center too.
Aqui Es Texcoco is a great restaurant for borrego lovers. Lamb barbacoa fans will also enjoy dining here. The caldo was extremely rich and full of flavor, almost a complete meal in itself. The jamaica was a wonderful addition too, very refreshing and not too sweet. The borrego itself was very tender and packed with flavor, a really wonderful dish. For dessert I had the arroz con leche. It's been a while since the last time we ate here, but the QUALITY has not changed! Tonight, we ordered barbacoa de borego con frijoles. It comes with tortillas (which you can order hot or cold), salsa, y limones con cebolla y cilantro.
