I have been unhappy with my Aquatic AV AQ-MP-5UBT-H since I purchased this unit... shortly after install I have to have unit removed to return for a power recycling issue. Then I had to pay AGAIN for the unit to be install in the motorcycle. I have Bluetooth issues and faceplate removal issues ever since the return. I remove the faceplate maybe twice a year to add MP3 files to the usb flash drive and it has become so difficult I had to pry the faceplate off which is disfiguring the faceplate. Honestly does this company even have a customer service team? For starters you can not contact them via phone for product support. It seems you also can't contact them via email either. First contacted on 9/20/22, it took 2 more emails on the 22nd & 23rd before I received my only response. They responded 4 days after on the 27th and I responded after Hurricane Ian when I was back in the office on the 30th. I have since sent 3 follow up emails on October 3rd, 5th, and this morning (the 6th). I highly doubt I'll get a response... read more
I paid $600.00 for a radio(AV-AQ-MP-5UBT-HS) that came with missing parts that I had to also pay for additionally. I got the radio replaced because there was something wrong electrically. They replaced it with another bad one(Used). This took over two months to replace and of course it was not 100% working correctly. They have no Quality Control and do not stand behind there product, instead boldly in front. There technical assistance (Kate and Kevin) are just as flawed as the product. Purchased a head unit for my 07 street glide over 2 years ago and worked amazing for almost that entire time. Had a problem over the warranty time and they still adrressed and fixed the problem. Best company for harley owners. Eager and willing to help. Will be purchasing and advising others to purchase in the future. Big thanks to Jeremy S in tech support.
