I think Tilman Ferttita needs to take a serious look at his Kemah operation.... I made reservations for the "Valentines Day, dinner under the sea". This was supposed to be a very special evening for my wonderful wife. We arrive on time for my reservation and the hostess tells me she has me "checked in" and to have a seat at the bar and check back with her in 10 or 15 minutes. What? I never leave reviews but this place needs a serious overhaul. We went for the Valentine’s Dinner special—we had drinks at the bar first and they were awful. Not presented well, tasted like metal, and seriously overpriced ($24). Once we got upstairs, we waited 15 minutes at our table before a server even came to get our drink orders. We asked for waters but never got them. The advertisement claimed we would have views of the aquarium—each table had a fish bowl and that was the “aquarium” view. 1st visit we had completely horrible service, cold food that should be warm, warm food that should be cold, everything was wrong and this was on a week night. The general manager called and asked us to come back as "his guest". 2nd visit "as guests" service was just as bad as the first time around except this time I received hair in my dessert. Not just a little A LOT. there was nothing that made me feel like a "special guest" of the general manager.
Went and celebrate my cousin n her boyfriend birthday what a big mistake it was very bad service ,the food was very cold .. i ordered a mango daiquiri( frozen ) it was served in a regular water glass told them about it they said they was out of glasses if i need it change i have to wait until they clean ones ..too much other stuff to write been to Houston area n was treated like a five star restaurant
If i could give 0 I definitely would. Service was very poor tonight. Drinks were watered down. Food was cold and nasty had no flavour. I won't be returning
The Thanksgiving buffet was wonderful. Traditional favorites, plus many other choices, including prime rib. Deserts were numerous. We had a small seating snafu but the manager immediately handled it and I believe gave us the best seat in the house (thanks Bryan) Hope to be there next year!
Very Disappointed took out of town family to Kemah for lunch. Shrimp tasted like dirt. The stuffed crab was like eating uncooked cornbread.
