Went for my birthday at the end of December and loved it! Reminded me of some restaurants we visited in Florence. Chef is very personable and the food was amazing! Great place and we will be back!
Aqua e Vino: We got kicked out of this restaurant because we were not ordering fast enough. Apparently they have a 2 hour limit (I was not told that when I made a reservation). We were celebrating a friend's birthday and supporting her because of a death in the family. We complained to the owner about the server (who wouldn't spend the time to suggest a wine to my husband and kept trying to hurry us), and the owner basically took the server's side and then yelled at us about not ordering fast enough. This is a not-so-hidden gem in Southpark. I love this place! The food, service, ambience. Chef is amazing and approachable.b
To quote the waiter, this was DINING. Not just eating out. Food was awesome. Really. I don't use that word often. Can't recommend highly enough. MAKE RESERVATIONS. This place only seats about 30. It's totally worth it. Spend the time for the experience.
We been here many times and every time is exceptional, no questions! This place has it all - authentic delicious Italian food, intimate atmosphere, attentive staff...you name it. Hands down to the best chef in town Gabriele!!
Best Italian restaurant in Charlotte. Everything from the atmosphere and service to the food and wine is superb. I can't stop dreaming about your charcuterie board. My husband and I love celebrating our anniversaries and special occasions here! Kudos to the chef and staff on this beautiful, intimate restaurant!!
