Great location !!
This hotel has gone down hill. Location is the only reason to give it 5 stars. The facility is dated, the carpeting is filthy and smells awful. Our first room smelled of smoke and dampness. The staff was kind enough to move us to another room. Unfortunately it was still not the best…stained carpeting and furniture. The hallways smell strongly of pine sol type cleaning agents. More sand in hotel pool than at the beach . Upkeep in pool area is pathetic , wouldn't let my dog swim in it . Sad . Hot tub under repair for over 3 years now .
Aqua Blue Hotel in Narragansett RI is a place I would definitely recommend avoiding, at All costs. In the real estate business the saying goes ‘Location Location Location’ and the hospitality business it is ‘Reputation Reputation Reputation’. Unfortunately they have the Location part locked up but miserably fail in their Reputation and Integrity area. I know that we all travel on vacation from time to time so it’s important to me to share this with others considering staying in the Narragansett RI area.
The bathroom smelled like rodent urine. The ceiling was bubbling and peeling with water damage. The little deck that we had was missing siding. The safes in the room did not work and we were lied to and told that they did work. Overall, extremely disappointed with the amount of money that we paid to stay in this subpar hotel
