This hotel hands down was the worst hotel my husband and I have ever stayed at. We went to ******** for our 25th wedding anniversary. We spent a pretty ***** too I might add. The Hotel room had roaches and small black bugs that were crawling on top of the desk and drawer areas. We spoke to another couple that had they same issue. Hotel management was notified and said we could move to another room but we would have to wait a day. Aqua-Aston apologized for the less-then-desirable stay, provided the guest with a refund, had the room professional treated to ensure the alleged pests had been eradicated,, and offered to assist the guest with future travel to ******.
On December 24th of this year, the fire alarm went off evidently leading to all the hotels guests to evacuate the building, however, conditions were not safe and seemingly did not seem to be up to par with the fire code. Exits were not clearly marked and no instructions were posted upon what to do in this sort of situation. Guests were left to fend for their own; if this was more than someone simply causing the alarms to go off from cooking, someone could have seriously been hurt, or worse many could have possibly died.
