This one is tricky… my husband and I agreed to start stopping by a new coffee shop every Sunday morning for breakfast. This was only our 2nd stop, but we’ve been to many coffee shops regardless. We just wanted to add a fun little breakfast date for our Sunday mornings. Honestly, this place let me down and I was a bit dissatisfied after leaving. Such a cute place tugged away. As a coffee and croissant snob I am constantly hunting those places when traveling and this one will definitely be a repeat now. Croissants are nice flaky and butter as they need to be. The coffee had great flavor to it as well. Add the outdoor seating on a sunny day and this makes a great coffee stop.
It was my first time in and the atmosphere was cozy and refreshing. I bought a butter croissant to go and it brought me back to the pastries in Paris. It’s difficult to find croissants that compare and was happily surprised. I will definitely come back to try the coffee and other items on the menu!
The chocolate cherry dacquoise was packaged nicely and there was a wide variety of pastries/baked goods. I liked the canelé more than the chocolate frosted dacquoise.
