This woman was recommended through EAP. By the second meeting she wanted to move me from the EAP to insurance I didn't have because I worked PRN and she didn't take TRICARE. I told her about the man who tried to traffic me, and she accused me of being highly delusional. She then tried to get me to go into a recovery program, even though I don't use drugs or alcohol and when I told her that I would lose all of my assets because I had no savings working PRN she charted that my concern was that I would lose my job. When I met April in 2022, I was newly clean and completely lost. I had sent my child away and didn’t know how to be a mom or even love myself. April helped me turn my life around. She guided me with compassion and helped me find strength, forgiveness, and purpose. I’ll always be grateful for her.
