Very disappointed with this "provider!" From the moment she entered the exam room, she showed NO interest in me as a patient and even claimed that there was NO info provided on me. Umm, my PCP sent a referral via MyChart which I had a copy as well as my sister who is a registered nurse with access to my Sentara MyChart. It's obvious that Ms. Walker simply did not bother to read any of the info on me and my case. I gave Ms Walker a second chance at an in person appointment (after having an unnerving after hours phone conversation with her) and was even more disappointing in person!! she was rude and dismissive and beyond that her medical attention and advice was less than we could have gotten from the office receptionist. she is a detriment to this office!!

I had an after hours call with Ms Walker (8/16/23) in which it was clear that I was interrupting her evening… her frustration at my questions was evident in her short and dismissive answers and her comment about “inconveniencing” us with her suggestion of adding time to his treatment instead of helping us get the treatment due that evening was anything but compassionate! she gives this office a very bad name!!!

Ms Walker has made a very scary and uncomfortable experience even more uncomfortable and frustrating. Her manner, first via a phone call and then an in person visit was uncaring, arrogant, and unprofessional. Upon asking her if we would have an opportunity to review her, she sarcastically said, "sure, and thanks for being late to your appointment." That sums her demeanor up, right there. Ms Walker was very professional and knowledgeable in her field. I recently had had three recur urinary tract infections and wanted to know if they continued could their office help me in treating them and avoiding antibiotic resistance. She assured me they could and she would work with my doctors should I get another urinary tract infection. It really put my mind at ease.
