I find insurance to be a scam, so when I booked my appointment, I chose to self-pay. I asked how much the service I was seeking would cost. I was told that there’s no telling, it just depends on what the dr. decides. This is a systemic flaw that somehow became normalized. Dr. April Fox is a truly excellent surgeon at the top of her game. I am so glad I chose her for my colostomy reversal. She is direct and kind, and she manages expectations very well.
