Decent selection. It would be good if the staff were more knowledgable about their samples. Since they had no clue what the pattern or yarn used was, I just took a pic to look it up online. I was also asked to bring my elderly dog outside after she barked. That's fair, i guess, as someone might be scared of a 20 lb old anxious pup and technically dogs aren't allowed in stores. Apricot Yarn is a GEM of a store with an amazing variety of local yarns. They allowed me to reserve their craft table for my sister's "Knitting Bachelorette Party", and the staff were incredibly friendly and excited throughout the entire event. Genuinely couldn't be happier with this store.
I recently attended a beginner crotchet class. I was excited to attend, since I wanted an in person, hands on experience. The class was two hours and the project to be completed was a dish cloth. Myself, along with the other attendees didn't even have a chance to complete the washcloth. The two hours wasn't enough time to get the foundational experience needed to even attempt the project in class, let alone at home.
