I've been on a CPAP since 2000. My 1st provider, Ron Andrews was great. Then I had no choice but got stuck with Apria. 3 years ago I received a new CPAP and about 18 months later it started making a loud noise and turning off in the middle of the night. Apria warranty replaced it in December 2020. The "new" 1 started making the noise on Sept20 and turning off in the middle of the night so I called Crapria and spoke to a customer service person who immediately got me to a respiratory therapist who said the machine was under w... read more

This company is absolutely horrible, worst customer service around. My grandmother has been with this company for over 10 years, her oxygen concentrator stopped working yesterday, so I called this place of business and they told me that she was dropped as a patient because something happened at the doctor's office and they didn't receive orders, they told me that they have been waiting for orders for over a year now. For sleep apnea patients, they have consistently provided me with excellent service. However, their previous customer service was based on FOREIGN CSRs who caused confusion and ill will. I have received excellent customer service by phone and in person for years from the local store. My doctor sent the request to Aprea and two days later they called and said the CPAP machine would be dropped shipped to my house and I would receive it in a week. Two week went by and nothing. I called and a man with a heavy Indian accent said he could look up my account. After a few minutes it was obvious he couldn't find it, put me on hold then another man with a heavy accent said he would need all my I formation. Ordered a portable oxygen concentrator, went through all the steps, was approved, and called and told they would call to make an appt for them to come out. Then after 3 mos. I call them and they tell me that they are not in contract with my insurance co.!!! Nice guys, not too intelligent, willl never use them again. Although they are not in contract with my insurance co., They handle my home oxygen!! Go figure.

Apria SUCKS!! Wait times of over an hour if you call in, no response if you send a letter. Can not even get a hold of the local office. Lied to, ignored, FRAUDULANTLY billed my insurance company for a humidifier I never had. Wish I could rate them NO stars. You have been warned!!

This is the biggest joke! We are now almost 4 weeks after a move across country and still no oxygen for my 86 year old grandma. I had to spend $1500 to buy a portable concentrator - and after at least 20 hours on hold, waiting, talking to 15 different people in 10 different departments - turns out it was a billing 'glitch' -- guess I'll have to find a different company. I have never seen such bad bad bad customer service in my life!!!!

There billing department is the worst I have every experienced!!!! Will not listen & cannot get anything straight!!!!!!!!!

Do not use this company. Very unprofessional and you can not get an actual Apria person on the phone. All numbers go to a call center where you can't hardly understand their accent. Been trying to get an Apria person for 2 weeks now. Last call center person I talked to said I had not met my deductible which was not true. Was in the hospital in June. More delays for CPAP machine...delay, delay, delay!
