For the past 6 years, I've used APRIA and each visit/phone call is a nightmare. People waiting in the waiting room forever, hold time for each call is minimum 10 minutes. Lost prescriptions, messed up billing, overworked clerical staff. They have group apps for several people, not effective.-just cheap. The supplies are grossly overpriced. Frankly, I feel sorry for the clerical staff who are on the front line. 2 weeks ago my MD ordered DME equipment from Apria to be delivered to my home prior to my surgery for Achilles tendon repair. Surgery has come and gone. 4 phone calls with many people all giving a variety of lame excuses, explanations, and rationalizations and I still do NOT have the equipment that I need. Their excuse was that it shipped Fed Ex, (no delivery), #2: it shipped UPS (no delivery) , #3 It will be delivered this afternoon (that was yesterday and "NO DELIVERY". #4 our technician will call you in a couple of hours.... read more
I'm from out of town visiting for a extended weekend. upon my arrival I noticed that I didn't pack my mask and hose to my CPAP and wasn't able to sleep at all the first night of my trip. I looked up Apria because that's where I get my supplies from hopping they would be able to help me out. They did! They were so very polite! The staff handled my problem quickly for that I thank them and Thank you Lee for your help and time. You saved my trip!
Both my MD, who is a world renown asthma, CPAP, etc. pulmonary physician, and I are in total agreement that Apria Health Care and their customer service leave a lot to be desired. There is no follow through on orders, doctors orders and prescriptions are lost or unaccounted for and personal information remains unprotected at time. I would not recommend APRIA health care on anyone!
No, customer service and completely incompetent!! ! They just don't care about their customers. AVOID!! AVDOID!! ADVOID!!
