My insurance company changed approved providers and at random I picked Apria. Bad choice! Once I finally was able to talk to somebody that could give me decent information I was told to have my doctor send in a prescription. My doctor did send in a prescription because Apria called me once they received it to clarify some information which makes sense. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years, but recently it’s been one problem after another. No one responds to calls, and getting help is nearly impossible. I’m done with them and honestly hope you don’t have to go through the same experience.
Awful company! Terrible customer service. My doctor ordered my CPAP machine, from a long list of vendors that my insurance allows, and it has been a nightmare. They were quick to get a machine to me, and supplies they thought were necessary, and of course bill me right away. However, try to get support, supplies, or any questions answered, forget it! Management is not ever available, or helpful. I will be communicating with my doctor about using a different company and returning their equipment.
While the people that work at this office are lovely and very helpful, their billing department is atrocious. EDIT: Apria send me medical equipment without my approval nor did they inform me of the delivery. I returned the equipment the next business day after I discovered it. Today I received a bill for the equipment that I didn't agree to receive and already returned. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY EDIT: Apria has filed a claim with my insurance after the equipment has been returned. I had no idea that agreeing to let my do... read more
