I had to order my CPAP supplies through the direct service. Their service desk is in India or another such country that knows nothing about our insurance and was requesting insane documentation that goes back 10 years. After a month, I asked for a supervisor and she was equally unhelpful. I finally cancelled my order and went elsewhere.

I wanted to get an itemized statement before paying my bill, to know what I was actually being charged for (esp since they messed up my Medicare & insurance billings). The only way to talk to anyone was the national phone line. I waited 90 minutes one day & still on hold. Next day I got tired of the same song playing over and over, so only waited 60 minutes before I hung up. Ridiculous! The only way to get an answer will be to drive to the store.
Having to call national office instead of local office is a bad decision. I spend 25 minutes on the phone to order oxygen when I used to be able to call Des Moines and have it set up in two minutes. I have been waiting right now for someone to speak to. Bad, bad decision on the part of Apria. Was a wonderful setup before. Good people working in Des Moines. Too bad I can't call them.
