I do not recommend Apria at all. When I've called the local office, the person that answers the phone is like an unhappy gatekeeper. She's short with her answers and you will never get to talk to one of the therapists for any help unless you schedule an appointment. I have been billed for services I've not received and was never told any of the "rules" about replacement pieces. So 5 months in, I have a cpap machine that doesn't fit properly. I need help! They won't help me! I have 3 oxygen equipments. 2 do not work. My insurance company is paying for non working equipment. the working one is big oxygen tank. It's to use if the electric goes off. Haven't had to use it yet! Praise the Lord . I'm 83. I assume the big tank works. They told me that they would help me last week. Haven't heard anything. It is scary . I want to feel safe. When I call they say their on their way to take care of a new clients
I don’t understand the negativity. This place has been so nice and helpful towards me. They let me know all cost upfront so there was no surprises. When ever I needed help they have been there to do so. I am so happy with the relationship I have with Apria.
This company prioritizes profits over patient care. I was put on oxygen. They asked me if I would want a humidifier to help with my nose getting painfully dry, and I told them yes. They said I would have it Wednesday. Friday I called because I hadn’t received it yet. They said it was mailed on Wednesday…the day I was to receive it. Very nice people. From the phone call to getting an appointment with a Respiratory Therapist. Very helpful and worked me in as soon as they could.
