Dr sent Apria a prescription for CPAP. Never told me bc I would have denied it due to frequent travel. Apria left a voicemail, delivered CPAP equipment to my house while I was out of the country, WITHOUT speaking to me to confirm!! It's been 4 months. A few phone calls to their customer service on hold for 20min, and a $500. Bill, and counting that they say I owe bc I haven't met my deductible. And they are trying to bill my insurance. Agent was very pleasant, courteous and helpful. Quickly addressed my issue and got it resolved.
I am a new CPAP user. My doctor warned me that Apria was challenging but it was the only company in network with my insurance company. It took a month to get my prescription to them because I was twice given the wrong fax number. When I would call to see if had been received, I would be told it takes several days to process and I should call back. Finally after three weeks, I asked to confirm the fax number. Having difficulty with setup.
I sleep without worry now. The mask is a bit to get use to, but I’m sure over time it would be like putting on a pair of socks. It was super easy to set up and the plus side of it is it’s not loud at all.
