Very disappointed in their assessment of my home. They valued the upper floors at $205/square ft. and the basement area at $73/ square. ft., which was a large component of the house (almost 40% of the heated/cooled space and is finished with hard ceilings just like the upstairs). I feel their appraisal did not take into consideration other important factors in the improvements to the home.

As a Realtor, I sometimes turn to and often recommend Mike to home owners for desktop and full home appraisal when I am in doubt or need an official report. He is thoughtful and thorough, and always lets me know if he is comfortable with an area or not, and will and if not, recommends another appraiser. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable about the appraisal process. He also does divorce and probate properties and prepared to testify if necessary in contested cases. He is a trusted partner.

Mike provides appraisals for divorces. If you’re amicably separating he’s your guy. However, if it’s contested and the biggest asset is the house- find a better person to get your appraisal done. Mike will not show up to court to testify about the property. Which could lead to an advantage for one side claiming “damage” to the property or “no improvements” made to the property.
