The mortgage co I engaged for a re-fi picked her to do the appraisal. Clearly she did not know my area as she came back with a ridiculous appraisal. She came in at $500K. The house was purchased 1 yr ago for $515K and appraised at 535K. You are going to tell me that in this market with houses climbing up 28% in value, the house dropped?
