I brought in my laptop since it wouldn't turn on/didn't seem to be charging. They charged me 130$/hr for labor, not counting repairs--whether that's high or low, I'm offering that information to you in the interest of full disclosure. They failed to write down my phone number correctly and chose to send me a letter, which is a little odd for a computer company. Fairly disappointed with my experience. My laptop screen needed to be replaced, and it was replaced with a low-quality screen. I can no longer see vivid colors on my screen, highlights and etc. The frame around my screen was cracked in all four corners, and I was not informed of this until I found out on my own. I wish I was communicated with, I could understand a mistake in removing the frame that caused the cracks. But I was not informed at all which made it seem as if they were trying to avoid fault. My girlfriend had her screen replaced on her laptop and they charged her a ridiculous amount of money for "labor". For a screen replacement of this scale you literally take the screen off, detach the ribbon cable, reattach the cable and fit the new screen in. Not 120$ worth of labor to me. I could've done it for a lot less. They have a fast turnaround, and got the screen in fast. But not worth that amount of money.
Had Ken cobble together some PCs I had problems with into one functioning PC. Been a month since and boy oh boy is it more than just "functional." I haven't had so much as a hiccup with the PC that he made. It's quiet. It doesn't overheat. It runs all the programs I wanted. For a PC made from outdated parts I had, man does it keep up.
