Compassionate caring staff. Great meals. My Mom has lived there for 6 years and the staff treats her like family. Beautiful grounds.
My experience with Applewood Retirement Residence has been exceptional! My brother and I had the pleasure of dealing with the General Manager, Paul Humphreys. At the end of December we had to quickly find a retirement home for our Mother. We started looking at a few retirement homes but once we came to Applewood, we looked no further. This is one of the best retirement facilities in Peterborough and surrounding area. The staff is outstanding and very caring with every resident 24/7. We compared several of the other facilities in and around Peterborough and in my opinion Applewood is the best. Update: So we have been living at Applewood Retirment for just over 9 months now, and it's been a great experience and a wonderful place to live.
