I had a truly lovely experience during my stay at Applewood. I came for a two month respite stay, and from the beginning, the staff were incredibly friendly, as were my fellow residents. The food was outstanding. While some dishes were different from what I typically cook at home, it was a treat to try new and exciting options. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. A plus! Don't let someone live here if they have any health concerns. Borderline elder abuse. Didn't see or hear from a resident for 4 days about almost let them die in their room before a visitor found them in time.

Compassionate caring staff. Great meals. My Mom has lived there for 6 years and the staff treats her like family. Beautiful grounds.

My experience with Applewood Retirement Residence has been exceptional! My brother and I had the pleasure of dealing with the General Manager, Paul Humphreys. At the end of December we had to quickly find a retirement home for our Mother. We started looking at a few retirement homes but once we came to Applewood, we looked no further. Even though we just dropped in without an appointment, Paul was very accommodating. He met with us right away, gave us a tour and answered any questions.
