Unprofessional service and poor communication. I had a very disappointing experience with the service department at Applewood Kia Surrey. I received a phone call informing me that my vehicle was ready for pickup. However, when I arrived, the car was nowhere near ready. I was asked to sit and wait, which I couldn't do since I had to return to work. I had an excellent and truly remarkable experience with Megan Young in the Service Department at Kia Surrey. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and supportive throughout the entire process. I can't recommend Chris highly enough. When I started looking at the EV9, I was told the wait would be at least a month and a half, which I'd resigned myself to. Chris kept me in mind and reached out as soon as a customer backed out of their order. I had the car in less than a week. That kind of proactive communication is rare. He didn't wait for me to check in, and he made the whole process easy from there. If you're shopping here, ask for Chris.
Saturday Mar/15, had my Kia serviced there. Lugnuts were extremely overtorqued, did not discover it until I tried to change tires on Sunday May/31. Complained at Service Desk on Tuesday June/2 requesting a manager to contact me. Waited 2 weeks for a reply which I never got. Made a complaint to Kia Canada and was told Jun/23 that the dealer would contact me. It is now another 2 weeks and now Jul/14 with no reply. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICING AT ALL COSTS!
