I have been a Cadillac customer, through Applewood Cadillac Mississauga, since past 13+ years. I have had issues with this dealership sales and service teams but they have been resolved except for the sales person with whom I stopped dealing. On Oct/27 at 8 AM I took my 2025 Optiq EV for a recall and routine service. Sales advisor, George, informed me that GM has in its maintenance manual has recommended an under carriage wash of every EV vehicle every 6 months. The cost? $ 159+HST. If I could give a rating less than 1, I would. Vehicle we bought was a lemon. After purchasing a Buick Encore GX, and driving it for a week, it was in the shop to get a new clutch and the transmission needed to be taken out. The sound also stopped working. The transmission was fixed, but they had the vehicle for over three weeks and the sound wasn’t fixed for almost a year. The GM of the dealership bullied us, as did GM Customer Care. I have been a loyal customer of Applewood Cadillac, Mississauga, since past 12 years. I lease all my cars for 4 years. This is my 3rd XT5. On Thursday, Oct/31/2024 I took my car for service at 0700 hrs. I had a brake pad noise and front driver side tire had a slow leak. Service advisor George told me brake requires measurement and adjustment and brake fluid requires flushing with new fluid.
