For me this is what real ice cream tastes like. From the time I was just a little boy my family has been coming on hot summer days for a cool treat from Applegate Farms. Now I am bring my friends and their children here to carry on that tradition. As this small company has grown it has lost none of it's qualites or charm. A must try.
Home made ice cream Excellent Homemade ICE CREAM at reasonable prices. Large selection of flavors. Bring the family out to this family run operation. Buy by the cone or by the quart. Extremely good.Clean enviorment. Walk up window service. I love their coffee and mint chocolate chip ice creams. Parking for 50 cars. Located on Grove st. in Upper Montclair.Other locations in NJ are Cranford, East Hanover, Freehold, Nutley, Totowa Upper Montclair open 9am to 11 pm daily.
Fantastic If you ever want the best ice-cream in the world, go to Applegate. The cake-batter is amazing and the service is great. The deal is great and they give you much more ice-cream then places like Baskin Robins.
Bad experience at Applegate Farms The Applegate Farm Location in upper Montclair was not enjoyable.It was not clean infact it was very dirty and had a lot of insects flying around inside.Also the milkshakes that I purchased were very nasty.
Superb Really creamy and scads of flavors. This is where we take the children for a treat when they bring home those good report cards. We took our own children for years and now we take the grands! Try the Dutch apple or lemon ice cream when they have it.
great setting I love coming here during the summer months to get some italian ice and sit on the benches in the back. The red farmhouse setting is cute, and the extensive parking lot in the back and benches make for a place to relax and enjoy something sweet.
