We had a party of 10 come in 08/10/25 with no reservation. We had to wait about 20 minutes, our server was Wendy. She was AMAZING. She was so nice, patient, kind to my grandkids. This woman was running the bar, washing dishes and being a waitress. She needs a HUGE bonus because she did ALL this with a smile and such a kind voice. I really hope the owners see this message.
We just got into Boone and went into Applebee’s to have dinner. The restaurant was practically empty, but we were told there would be a 12 minute wait because they were backed up. There were less than 20 people in the entire restaurant. We said we were leaving all they said was have a nice day they could care less about their customers and service will never go back.
So I just got to Boone, North Carolina to start a project for the next two years and immediately learned that I will never go back to Applebees. Mark M. Behind the bar couldn’t have been more into himself and unappreciative of anything going on around him. I got the 2 for $25. Not only did it all come out at the same time, but my to go bag had no plastic silverware condiments nothing. I mean everything came out at the same time. No time to enjoy my appetizer.
