Good food, pleasant atmosphere, and the wait for a table and food wasn't long. The waiter was very attentive to his section, however when it came time for us to leave, it took a while to get the check and to-go cup.
Two stars because the food was decent. And the waiter was really nice. However, the problem I had was the fact that they had a little bit too many screens during the day like four or five and as a person who personally tries to avoid screens as much as he can it bothered me and I would just like it if like some of the restaurant staff would be customary and like maybe turn off the television when like no one‘s watching it or something that way it doesn’t bother anybody. I have never sat down to eat a meal at the Applebee's in Calhoun until tonight. I took a girl on a date that I've been trying to get with forever and these guys had to screw it up. First they brought my food to me cold. And then when I got my check, it was $20 more than it was supposed to be because the waitress forgot to tell me that there was an upcharge on what I was ordering.
