A good friend and neighbor that I was helping pick up furniture for his remodeled house likes going to Applebee's in Ft Olgethorpe and especially on Burger Monday were you can get any specialty burgers and fries for $9.99. Wow what a great deal because the burgers were huge and our selection of a bacon cheeseburger was just amazingly delicious and the fries were plentyful and very tasty. Jokingly I told him that he could take me every Monday for as long as it lasts.
I was doordashing, stopped in to pick up the order, never been to this location before. The manager was at the door and politely opened the door for me and automatically greeted me and was so sweet! He could read me quick and showed me where to pick up the order and really impressed me. If I had not already gotten a new job I would have asked for his name and let him know I would apply. This was my first time at this location. I wasn’t impressed. Although my service was great. The place was gross. It looks like mold is coming out of the vents, dust all over the light fixtures. And when I received my food, and my mash potatoes were cold, they stuck them in a bowl and heated it up in a microwave. I wanted warm food. Not food that was going to burn my mouth as soon as I ate it. It was in there so long that it was burnt around the sides. Only good thing today was the service and my steak.
Just left possibly the worst Applebee's experience I've ever had. My husband and I were sat, then ordered drinks and an appetizer to split. Our server went to put the order in, brought our drinks, and said she'd be back to get our main order. The app came out in about 10 minutes. 20 minutes after we got the app, our server came back to the table and acted shocked we had finished it already, then said she had forgotten to take our menus earlier. When we said we wanted to order entrées she again seemed very surprised, kind of ... read more
