Food was great. Love the barbecued riblets service was wonderful. She's worked for him for 20 some years. Very very nice
We went out for dinner last weekend. The restaurant seemed short‑staffed, so the food came out slowly, and the dishes weren’t warm enough,I like my burgers served warm.We tried 2 new dishes on the menu, and they were extremely salty—far beyond what I can tolerate. This had never happened before, I wouldn’t recommend trying it.
While I normally will give Applebee's a high mark for food, this time they really missed the mark entirely. I ordered the 8 oz top sirloin medium rare. What I got, OMG, it was fairly rare, full of gristle and so tough that I literally could not cut it with a knife. It was like trying to saw through a piece of wood with a butter knife. I sent the whole meal back and got smash burger with cheese, now when you come in expecting a fine steak and end up with a smash burger, nope. That's a fall on your face review.
