I got so sick after eating and then found mold on the onions & bell pepper in my Queso dip. Up half the night sick to my stomach and in so much pain. Not to mention I'm allergic to mold...
Not sure if it's just this Marietta location or Applebee's in general but my experience there last night was quite underwhelming, compared to the fond memories I have of this eatery from a decade ago. Went on a Saturday night with my wife, the decor was dingy and dark, more like a pub than a family restaurant. The place was only about 20 percent full at 7pm, not a good sign. Stood at the host booth for over 10 Mins, 8:30pm on Wednesday 11/13/24, while nobody cared to acknowledge me or the guy who had been waiting in front of me. Two waitresses saw us at the back POS and one was on her phone and the other just smiled and pretended she was doing something on the POS for 10 consecutive mins. Went here on Veterans day thinking that "this might be a nice place to get a free meal for the holiday." I have a 1 hour lunch break. There were about 12 tables with customers myself included, and from what I could see there were 4 people waiting tables. I immediately got seated and after 30 minutes of waiting nobody even came to my table to take my order.
